Teacher Stacy received her early childhood certificate and Associates degree from Fullerton College in 1988. That same year she began teaching preschool children at Little Friends Christian Academy in Yorba Linda, California. In 1992 she married her husband Greg and moved to Newberg, Oregon. She continued working in local preschools until her first child Brittany was born in 1994. When her youngest child Matthew reached preschool age in 2002, Stacy resumed teaching preschool in the Newberg area.
In 2012 she took her 18 years of in early childhood education and struck out on her own opening Jack and Jill Christian Preschool. Stacy has a huge heart for teaching and serving preschool aged children and their families. One of Stacy’s passions is developing an inclusive family atmosphere that is at the heart of Jack and Jill Christian Preschool.
Teacher Stacy has an extraordinary ability to keep moving forward under any circumstance. One of the verses she leans on comes from Isaiah; “But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31.
Jack and Jill Christian Preschool welcomed Chrissy as a teacher in 2017-18, teacher Chrissy has worked in early childhood education since 2005. She is a skilled teacher with a heart for preschool education. Chrissy enjoys equipping children in her class with the academic, social and emotional skills necessary to thrive in elementary school.
One of Teacher Chrissy favorite bible verses and one that guides her when she is in the classroom comes from the book of Mark 10:14. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
We love that Chrissy has a love for Jesus and is called to teach, we are so happy to have her on our team. Chrissy is a mother to two amazing children, Kayla 20 and Cody 17. In her spare time, she enjoys, driving through the countryside, going to the beach as well as curling up on the couch with a blanket and a good book.
